PDFCreator installation manual
After the program has been downloaded one has to install it. Before starting the installation it is good practice to close all other programs in order to prevent conflicts.
If Adobe Acrobat (not Acrobat Reader) is installed on the pc and you also wish to install PDFCreator, a repair install of Acrobat will have to be done as the PDFCreator installer changes some settings that Acrobat needs.
When the PDFCreator installer icon is clicked the following screen shows:

Choose your preferred installation language and click ‘OK’

klick ‘next’

Choose ‘I accept’ and click ‘next’

Choose ’standard installation and click ‘next’

Give the printer a name. This will be the way it is shown in the windows printer configuration screen? Click ‘next’

Op dit scherm wordt verwezen naar de internet explorer plug-in die in de volgende stappen kan geinstalleerd worden. Deze heeft men in principe niet nodig. Klik hier op ‘volgende’
This screen refers to the Internet Explorer plug-in option that may be installed in the next step. It’s not needed. Click ‘next’

Uncheck the checkmark in front of the PDFCreator toolbar for Internet Explorer. Then choose the language which you want installed. Click ‘next’

Choose the name of the program as you wish it to be shown in the start menu or leave the suggested name. Then click ‘next’

Here one can choose where the program shortcuts are placed. Advanced users may change this to their liking.

In this screen an overview of the preferences is shown. Click ‘install’. The installation procedure will start. This may take a few minutes.
When the installation is complete the next screen is shown:

The PC does not need to be restarted to be able to use the program. Chose ‘no’ and click ‘complete’
PDFCreator is now ready to be used.
